We’re pleased to announce that we will continue to host spectacular weddings and events as Fillmore Chapel by Wedgewood Weddings. We are excited to bring Wedgewood Wedding’s experience of hosting incredible events to our beautiful venue.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Fillmore, “The last best small town in Southern California,” The Fillmore on Central is Ventura County’s premier weddings and special events venue, ideally situated between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. As part of the picturesque Heritage Valley, Fillmore is a quaint and architecturally significant community with a rich agricultural history, surrounded by working farms, avocado and citrus groves and views of the Topa Topa mountain range.
The Fillmore on Central began as the First Presbyterian Church site in 1888 and offered a gathering place, and later a school, for the community for more than 100 years. The historic Mission-style building was carefully restored in 2020 to preserve and highlight its exquisite original details.
With approximately 20,000 square feet of event space, including year-round indoor and outdoor options, The Fillmore distinctly differs from other wedding and private event venues that populate the area. It offers a modern and sophisticated feel while maintaining the charm and character of the historic building and community, with event spaces that accommodate 25 – 300 guests. Along with being a unique wedding venue, the variety of event spaces from which to choose also makes The Fillmore ideal for social and corporate events.
